STEP BY STEP

How to rehearse with the teleprompter

Follow these steps in the ToolFlow app for iPhone or iPad.

  1. Add your script

    Open Teleprompter in ToolFlow. Type or paste your text into Script.

  2. Choose Scroll mode

    In Presentation Settings, select Scroll. Leave Scroll Direction at Vertical (upward) for this example.

  3. Set a comfortable pace

    Adjust Font Size and Scroll Speed. Start with the defaults, 56 pt and 40 pt/s, then change them to suit your reading distance and pace.

  4. Open the full-screen view

    Tap Open Teleprompter, then tap Play when you are ready to speak.

  5. Pause or start again

    Use Pause to stop the text. Restart returns to the beginning and pauses; tap Play to begin again. Use Slower or Faster to adjust the pace during the rehearsal.

Does the teleprompter record video or export my script?

It displays the text you enter. This tool does not record video or provide a script export or sharing action.

Can I read in landscape?

Yes. On iPhone, use Rotate when it appears in the presentation controls. On iPad, rotate the device or resize the window.

How do I clear the controls from the screen?

Use Hide Controls, then tap the screen to show them again. Playback controls let you pause or restart your rehearsal whenever you need.
